About Fluff's Events
After spending 15 years
not being entertained by staid bars, overpriced, underwhelming
clubs and unsociable parties I decided to do something
about it. In 2006 I was introduced to several new communities
of people, with each having their own events that could
be categorized as underground. From there I was able
to grow new ideas. In the process I created a lifestyle
more interesting than I could have ever dreamed of.
The underground has changed quite
a bit from the days of grungy dimlit clubs. The best
way to describe todays underground is non commercialized.
We don't use standard venues, vendors or apply for
permits. However the people who come to our events
fill the spectrum with lawyers, doctors, bankers, scientists
and artists. Together there is a great energy rarely
seen in the mainstream. People are extremely social
and friendships are made daily. The events run from
the absurd to the heavily costumed to in the case of
urban spelunking can scare you straight.
All of my events follow a few guidelines: the events must be
unique enough that I'd pay to go, they must be non exclusive
as long as you were able to find it and the admission is free.
There may be a cash bar or merchandise at some of the events.
Fluff is dedicated to preserving the New Underground.
